Services

My holistic counselling and coaching services provide a comprehensive and collaborative approach to mental, emotional and spiritual well-being by considering the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or specific issues, my services aims to address underlying factors and promote overall health by taking an individualised, tailored approach to the mind-body connection, spiritual wellbeing and self care by empowering individuals to take an active role in their own healing and personal growth journey.  These services can be crucial in providing help during challenging times, improving quality of life, and addressing specific needs.

Meet & Greet Call - Free

A meet and greet call, sometimes referred to as an initial consultation or intake session, is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine if  I am a good fit for your healing journey.

The session will include a brief introduction on myself, my approach to therapy and my background. This is also a chance for you to share a bit about yourself and your goals for counselling. We will then explore your concerns, what prompted you to seek counselling, including any specific issues, challenges, or goals you have in mind. I can then assess whether my skills and approach align with your needs.

We will discuss what you hope to achieve through your journey. This might include short-term and long-term goals. We will also discuss session frequency, duration, and any logistical details like fees, intake paperwork and how the sessions can be delivered i.e in person/online.

Most importantly, you can ask any questions you have about my process, approach, or anything else you’re curious about. It’s important to clarify anything that will help you feel comfortable and informed.

If we both agree that it’s a good fit, we will discuss the next steps such as paperwork and scheduling future sessions. If it’s not the right fit, I may be able to provide referrals to other professionals who may be better suited to your needs.

This session is crucial for building a trusting relationship and ensuring that you feel comfortable moving forward. It’s okay to ask questions and take your time to decide if you would like to continue working with me.

Trauma Informed Emotional Healing Coach

As a Trauma-Informed Emotional Healing Coach I support individuals who are navigating the emotional effects of trauma. This kind of coaching is rooted in an understanding of how trauma impacts the mind, body, and spirit, and how it can affect one’s relationships, self-esteem, and daily functioning. The role of a Trauma-Informed Emotional Healing Coach is to guide clients through the process of healing and transformation in a safe, compassionate, and empowering way.

Here are some key things I do as a trauma-informed emotional healing coach:

1. Create a Safe and Supportive Environment.

As a trauma-informed coach I ensure that every session is a safe space. I approach each person with empathy, compassion, and patience, respecting your boundaries and ensuring that you feel in control of your healing process.

2. Identifies and Understands the Impact of Trauma

I help clients identify and understand how past traumatic experiences may be affecting their current emotional state, behaviours, and relationships. I don’t force clients to relive trauma but support them in recognising patterns that may have been shaped by past experiences.

3. Supports Emotional Awareness and Regulation

Emotional healing often involves learning to regulate overwhelming emotions. As a coach I help clients develop tools to recognise and manage their emotions - whether through mindfulness, breathwork, grounding techniques, or other methods that foster emotional awareness and self-regulation.

4. Helps Process and Release Unresolved Trauma

As a therapist and a coach, I combine techniques (such as guided visualisations, journaling prompts, or EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques) to help clients gently process unresolved trauma. The goal is to help clients release stored emotions or energy that may be blocking their healing.

5. Fosters Self-Compassion and Empowerment

A major aspect of healing is developing self-love and self-compassion. I work with clients to reframe negative self-beliefs, empower you to take control of your healing process, and help you recognise your inner strength and resilience.

6. Supports the Development of Healthy Coping Strategies

I help clients replace maladaptive coping mechanisms (like dissociation, avoidance, or self-sabotage) with healthier ones that support emotional balance and resilience. These coping strategies can be integrated into daily life, helping you to feel more grounded and secure.

7. Encourages the Building of Healthy Relationships

Trauma can negatively impact relationships, but healing can also foster more positive and supportive connections. I guide clients in setting healthy boundaries, improving communication, and developing trust in themselves and others.

8. Honours the Client’s Own Healing Journey

Trauma healing is a deeply personal process. My style of trauma-informed coaching meets clients where they are, respecting their pace, and never rushing or forcing them to address difficult issues before they’re ready. I provide steady, consistent support but honour the client’s autonomy in making decisions about their healing.

9. Promotes Long-Term Emotional Growth

The goal of a trauma-informed coaching isn’t just to help a client “move on” from trauma, but to create sustainable emotional growth. My clients leave coaching sessions with practical tools and insights that they can use to continue their healing journey long after the coaching relationship ends.

10. Supports with Mindfulness and Resilience Building

By introducing mindfulness practices, somatic techniques, or stress-reduction practices, as a trauma-informed coach I can help clients build resilience and foster emotional balance in their day-to-day life.

In essence, a Trauma-Informed Emotional Healing Coach provides a holistic, supportive approach to help individuals process and heal from trauma in a way that honours their experiences, fosters self-empowerment, and facilitates lasting emotional well-being. It’s a space where clients can feel heard, supported, and guided as they heal at their own pace.

2. Self-Discovery: I help clients explore their beliefs, values, and purpose, encouraging them to connect with their inner selves and gain clarity on their spiritual path.

3. Mindfulness and Presence: I incorporate mindfulness practices, meditation, and other techniques to help clients stay present and cultivate inner peace.

4. Personalised Guidance: My spiritual coaching is tailored to individual spiritual journeys, whether clients are exploring specific faiths, personal philosophies, or seeking a more general sense of spirituality.

5. Support in Transition: As a spiritual life coach, I assist clients during times of transition or crisis, helping them find meaning and direction in challenging situations.

6. Empowerment: I empower clients to trust their intuition and make choices that align with their spiritual values, fostering a sense of autonomy and confidence.

7. Connection to Community: As a coach, I encourage clients to engage with spiritual communities or practices that resonate with them, enhancing their sense of belonging and support.

Overall, a spiritual life coach facilitates a journey of self-exploration and growth, helping clients connect with their spiritual essence and live more fulfilling lives.

Holistic counselling takes a comprehensive approach to mental health, considering your whole person - mind, body, and spirit. Here are some holistic options we may explore:

1. Integrative Therapy: Combines various therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) skills, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) skills, trauma informed therapy, emotional regulation and freedom techniques, brain health education, and spiritual therapies, tailored to address your needs.

2. Mindfulness-Based Therapy: Utilises mindfulness practices to help develop greater awareness and acceptance of your thoughts and feelings. Techniques might include meditation and visualisation techniques, breathing exercises, and mindful awareness.

3. Body Centred Therapy: Focuses on the connection between the body, mind and emotions. Methods like Somatic Experiencing to address trauma and stress by integrating physical awareness with emotional processing.

4. Ecotherapy: Emphasises the healing power of nature. Involves spending time outdoors, engaging with natural environments, and using nature-based tools to promote emotional well-being.

5. Energy Psychology: Uses the concept of energy flow within the body. Techniques such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) or Thought Field Therapy (TFT) involve tapping on specific meridian points to release emotional blockages.

6. Art Therapy: Encourages expression through creative processes like drawing, painting, or sculpting. It helps individuals explore their feelings, thoughts, and experiences in a non-verbal way.

7. Sound Frequency Therapy: uses specific sound frequencies to promote healing, balance, and overall well-being. These include binaural beats, solfeggio frequencies, chanting and mantras to assist with rewiring your brain.

8. Narrative Therapy: Focuses on the stories people tell about their lives. By re-framing and rewriting these stories, individuals can gain new perspectives and address issues from a different angle.

9. Spiritual Counselling: Incorporates elements of spiritual or religious beliefs into the therapeutic process. This might involve exploring spiritual practices, values, and beliefs that are meaningful to the individual.

10. Holistic Health Coaching:

Combines counselling with health coaching principles to support overall wellness. It involves setting goals and creating action plans related to various aspects of health and well-being.

Many holistic counsellors integrate multiple methods to provide a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to individual client needs.

Women's Empowerment Coach

A Women’s Empowerment Coach is someone who supports women in recognising and embracing their inner strength, improving their self-confidence, and achieving their personal and professional goals. My role as a coach is to help women navigate challenges, break through limiting beliefs, and create a life that aligns with their authentic values, desires, and potential.

Here’s what I do as a Women’s Empowerment Coach:

1. Helps Build Self-Confidence

One of the core roles of a women’s empowerment coach is to support clients in strengthening their self-worth and belief in their abilities. Many women struggle with self-doubt, imposter syndrome, or societal pressures. As a coach I work to help clients overcome these barriers and step into their full potential.

2. Encourages Goal Setting and Clarity

As a women’s empowerment coach, I help clients identify their goals - whether they’re personal, professional, or relational. I provide tools for clarity, helping women identify what they truly want in life, set actionable goals, and create a clear roadmap to achieve them.

3. Supports Personal Growth and Transformation

Empowerment coaching isn’t just about external success; it’s about deep internal transformation. I help women work through past experiences, limiting beliefs, and negative self-talk that may be holding them back. The goal is to create sustainable personal growth by addressing these internal blocks.

4. Helps Cultivate Assertiveness and Boundaries

Empowerment often involves learning to assert oneself in various aspects of life - whether at work, in relationships, or with personal commitments. As a coach, I help women develop healthy boundaries, practice assertiveness, and communicate their needs effectively, while also encouraging self-advocacy and standing up for themselves.

5. Encourages Self-Love and Body Positivity

Many women struggle with body image issues or negative self-talk. As a women’s empowerment coach, I work with women on fostering self-love, body positivity, and acceptance, helping women build a healthy relationship with themselves and their bodies, regardless of societal standards.

6. Navigates Life Transitions

Life transitions - such as career changes, relationship shifts, motherhood, or personal challenges - can create uncertainty and fear. As a coach, I help women navigate these changes with confidence, providing support to transition smoothly and find new opportunities for growth and fulfilment.

7. Provides Accountability and Motivation

As an Empowerment coach I act as a partner in accountability, helping women stay motivated and on track with their goals. I provide consistent support, encouragement, and feedback, helping clients overcome obstacles and celebrate successes along the way.

8. Teaches Mindfulness and Stress Management

As a women’s empowerment coach, I teach mindfulness techniques, stress management tools, and self-care strategies to help women maintain balance and manage the pressures of modern life. Whether it’s through meditation, breathing exercises, or time management strategies, I help clients stay grounded and focused.

9. Supports Healthy Relationships and Communication

Empowering women also means supporting them in developing healthy relationships. Whether it's with family, friends, or romantic partners, I help clients set healthy boundaries, communicate openly, and cultivate relationships that uplift and support them.

10. Encourages a Balanced Life

Empowerment isn’t just about achieving success in one area - it’s about creating a holistic life. As a women’s empowerment coach, I work with clients to achieve a balanced life, prioritising personal well-being, family, career, social life, and passions in a way that feels fulfilling and sustainable.

11. Fosters Community and Connection

Empowerment coaching can also involve helping women connect with others who share similar experiences, challenges, or goals to foster a sense of community, solidarity, and shared growth.

In essence, a Women’s Empowerment Coach acts as a guide, cheerleader, and mentor, helping women break free from limiting beliefs and social conditioning so they can create a life that feels purposeful, joyful, and authentic. As a coach I work collaboratively with clients, empowering them to take charge of their personal growth, unlock their potential, and live confidently in alignment with their values and aspirations.

Solution Focused Therapy

A Solution-Focused Therapist takes a future-oriented, goal-directed approach to therapy, focusing on what’s working in a person’s life rather than delving deeply into past issues or problems. The primary goal is to help individuals identify practical solutions to current challenges and enhance their ability to handle difficulties moving forward.

Here’s a breakdown of what I offer as a Solution-Focused Therapist does:

1. Focuses on Strengths and Resources

Solution-focused therapy is rooted in the belief that people have the inner resources and strengths to overcome challenges. As a solution focused therapist, I help clients identify what’s already working in their lives, as well as past successes and strengths that they can use to address current difficulties.

2. Sets Clear, Achievable Goals

I work with clients to define clear and realistic goals. These goals are usually specific, measurable, and framed in a positive way. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong, the emphasis is on what the client wants to achieve and how to make progress in that direction.

3. Helps Create Actionable Solutions

Solution-focused therapy is practical and action-oriented. I help client's brainstorm potential solutions to their problems and develop concrete steps they can take. These solutions are usually focused on the present and the future, empowering the client to make changes in their life immediately.

4. Uses "Miracle Question" and Scaling Questions

To help the client envision solutions, I use techniques like the miracle question - asking the client to imagine a scenario where their problem has been solved overnight. For example: “If a miracle happened and your problem was solved, what would be different in your life tomorrow?” This helps the client visualize a positive outcome and identify steps they can take to make that outcome a reality.

Scaling questions are another tool used to help clients assess progress. For example: “On a scale of 1 to 10, how confident are you that you can handle this challenge? What would it take to move from a 5 to a 6?” This helps clients gauge their progress and identify small, incremental steps to improve.

5. Short-Term, Solution-Oriented Sessions

Solution-focused therapy is often shorter in duration than traditional therapy. We work together to make quick progress, with a focus on solving immediate issues and moving toward the client’s desired outcomes. It’s a collaborative process that is solution-driven, rather than problem-driven.

6. Explores Exceptions to the Problem

A key concept in solution-focused therapy is identifying when the problem isn’t present or is less intense. This is done through targeted questions like, “When have you experienced a time when this issue wasn’t as big of a problem for you? What was different about those times?” This helps clients recognise that there are already times when they’ve been able to manage or cope with their challenges, which can provide valuable insights into how to handle similar issues moving forward.

7. Encourages Positive Change Through Small Steps

Instead of overwhelming clients with large, daunting changes, solution-focused therapy encourages small, manageable steps toward progress. These small steps can build momentum and help clients feel empowered as they begin to see positive changes in their lives.

8. Builds on Client’s Existing Skills

As a Solution-focused therapists I believe that clients already possess the skills and capabilities to find solutions to their challenges. My role is to help clients identify and apply these strengths to their current situation. This builds the client’s self-confidence and reinforces their ability to make decisions and solve problems on their own.

9. Focuses on the Present and Future

While some therapeutic approaches focus heavily on understanding past experiences, solution-focused therapy is forward-looking. We prioritise what’s happening now and what can be done to move forward. The emphasis is on creating positive changes today that will continue into the future.

10. Encourages Self-Empowerment and Autonomy

A core goal of solution-focused therapy is to empower clients to be the drivers of their own change. As a therapist, I don't provide the answers but work with the client to uncover their own solutions, fostering a sense of autonomy and control in the process.

11. Helps Clients Identify and Celebrate Successes

As a solution-focused therapist I am keen to celebrate even the smallest victories with clients. Each success, no matter how small, is seen as progress. This helps build positive momentum and reinforces the client’s sense of accomplishment, boosting their confidence and motivation.

As a Solution-Focused Therapist I work with clients to identify their strengths, set clear goals, and develop practical solutions to their problems. Rather than spending time on analysing the root causes of issues, this approach focuses on what’s working now and how to enhance that to create positive change. It’s a collaborative, empowering, and action-oriented form of therapy that encourages clients to find their own solutions and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling future.
